Abstract

The succession of norms regulating the labor effects of the subcontracting of productive activities, with a striking proximity in time and a clear parallelism regarding its tutelary orientation. In many countries of South America, it is an expression of the emergence of an increasingly clear conscience regarding the potential adverse effects of recourse to this organizational formula. A system that affects the quality of employment, wages and the effectiveness of collective rights of workers. This paper carries out a cross-sectional study of such a relevant regulatory tendency, detecting the different lines of policy of the Law and normative solutions that underlie it and questioning about its possibilities and limits.
