Zusammenfassung

Introduction Dactylitis is one of the clinical manifestations of spondyloarthropathies, mostly related to psoriasic arthritis. Etiopathogenesis It is caused by the inflammation of structures with synovial fluid in fingers, the joint itself or the flexor tendon sheath; enthesis plays an important role in its pathophysiology. Clinical manifestations The clinical manifestation is uniform swelling of a finger. Diagnosis and prognosis Diagnosis is mostly clinical, prognosis and treatment depend on the etiopathogenesis. Treatment In spondyloarthropathy-related dactylitis the treatment is based on NSAIDs, local physical measures and infiltrations. Both synthetic and biological DMARDs have been used and new biological (Ustekinumab, Secukinumab) and non-biological (Apremilast) drugs have been approved.
