Abstract

We are before a patient with a mixed skeletal malocclusion of class III, with a prognatic mandible and a hipoplasic maxillary reflected overalls in traverse sense. Functionally there are a white and marked deviation to the left with displacement of the inferior half line. The patient presents signs and symptoms related with temporomandibular disorders. Dental highlights a class II molar and the bilateral later crossed bite. That makes more interesting to this case it is the association of dental problems added. Among them: the inclusion of the 15 and the serious destruction of the first permanent inferior molars for cavity. During the treatment it suffered a blow in the 12 with fracture result between the gingival and medious third. We carry out a orthodontic treatment consistent in the placement of fixed appliances in both arcades, with quadhelix for the expansion of the maxillary one and extraction of 15, 25, 36 and 46 (with closing of spaces).
