Abstract

Carlos Sixirei has just published Plaza del Mundo. Historia informal de Brasil, the first comprehensive history of Brazil written by a Spanish historian. In its many pages, the book examines the history of the first Latin American power from prehistory to the impeachement of Dilma Rousseff in 2016. A complete analysis of the economic, political, social and cultural reality of Brazil in historical perspective, which helps to decipher the great complexity of this country of continental size.
