Zusammenfassung

A gravity survey covers the area near La Alberca-Bejar at the westernmost part of the granitic Spanish Central System. Data have been interpreted using a 3D inverse technique, that provides a map of the relative thickness of the granite. The results show the coexistence of two different complex granitic bodies, which correlate with different outcropping granitic facies. The Western Body (La Alberca- Sequeros and Linares de Riofrio) is not deeply rooted, around 3 km. The map interpreted from gravity shows that its emplacement proceeded from a smooth infilling of magma towards NE. Gradients mostly oriented NW-SE, in the map of the thickness contours, should reflect a structural emplacement control along that trend. The Eastern Body is quite deeper, more than 3 km in thickness. The root zones are displayed in two areas of the easternmost part of the study area. The Eastern Body apparently postdates the Western Body since his trend crosscuts the former ones.
