Abstract
The film director Cesc Gay has told in his movie Truman how two friends, Julián and Tomás, face terrible news such as Julian’s death due to cancer. The two friends meet again to spend a few days together in Madrid and to recover lost time. Gay uses death as a plot excuse to talk about life and the importance of how and when to die. In the film there is talk of dignified death, assisted suicide, cancer, etc., taboo themes in contemporary society, but without losing the comic sense because comedy and drama are part of the film as life
