Abstract
Continuing the practice consolidated over time, the European Commission has adopted on October 14, 2020, the proposed Decision on the VIII General Environment Program of the European Union for the years 2021 to 2030, and beyond until 2050, which continues the actions of the VII Program. The new Program is closely linked to the 2019 European Green Deal and to the Union’s progress on sustainable development. The Program includes specific objectives and the conditions necessary to make progress on them, as well as a new monitoring and evaluation framework
