Zusammenfassung

An interdisciplinary proposal for the reinforcement of the knowledge and handling of the measure of capacity (liters) and its main subdivisions (half a liter and quarter of a liter) in the first years of Primary Education is presented, using activities developed in the classroom of Physical Education. The proposed activities are adapted to the objectives of the curriculum of Physical Education about displacements and employ recycled material (containers having different capacities) which is easily obtainable in the daily environment of the children. The results show a statistically significant improvement in the knowledge of the relationship between units and their subdivisions in the group that has carried out this experience compared with the control group and also an improvement over its own initial level. This interdisciplinary approach allows the children having an experience of management of the units of measure and its relationships in a context of dynamic competition among groups which has reflexive and affective high values.
