Abstract
The System of General Franco gave a special importance to the common places built in the colonization villages by the Instituto Nacional de Colonización (INC), during the second half of the twentieth century. This article is an introduction to the importance of these places in the structure of the social identity, as a key part to achieve the identification of the residents with these new villages.
