Abstract
Chemical composition, colour, crystal forms and parameters of about thirty cassiterite samples from various Spanish tin deposits are present in this paper. A decrease of parameters aD and c Q in relation to one synthetic S n 02 has been shown; the difference is bigger in the c0 parameter. It is possible a correlation between the decrease of cQ parameter and the total content of minor elements and the content of some elements (Nb and Ta).
