Abstract

How to improve the knowledge and communication of the Spanish scientific culture background from the disciplinary approach of digital history? The present text faces this challenge in the context of the research project Educational and Scientific Challenges of the Second Spanish Republic: Internationalization, Popularization, Innovation in Universities and Institutes taking as its starting point the research work, educational or dissemination activities, management and training courses for secondary and higher education teachers pensioned by the Council for the Extension of Studies and Scientific Research between 1931 and 1936. All this, with an aim to reflecting on the theoretical and methodological basis which will be helpful in designing an applicable action plan to the collective biography of these teaching staff, taking into account the most innovative approaches from the fields of History, Information and Communication Sciences, Data Science and Citizen Science.
