Abstract
In 2014, Damián Szifrón gets the public's attention and admiration of critics with a curious movie script: Relatos Salvajes. The originality of the argument lies in concatenation of six different stories, disconnected from a narrative perspective, but closely related in their thematic reasons: violence, barbarism, revenge or poetic justice. The aim of our communication is the analysis of this Argentinian picture, regarding the construction of the visual language, but also from an aesthetic and cultural perspective; discovering its cinematic background, intertextual relationships contained therein, as well as its relationship to other contemporary cultural manifestations, like literature; with which seems to share aspects such as fragmentation, hybridity and taste for the absurd.
