Resumen

La problemática de las migraciones Sur-Norte dentro de la UE no solo ha llamado la atención de numerosos investigadores, sino que se ha convertido en objeto de preocupación de la opinión pública. Este artículo analiza el desarrollo de las migraciones desde España hacia los países septentrionales de la UE y se centra en sus principales características y, sobretodo, en una alta selectividad de flujo. Siguiendo esta línea, trata de los mecanismos que están en el origen de esta selectividad y sus posibles implicaciones sociales y políticas. Por último, ofrece una reflexión sobre los posibles escenarios futuros de la movilidad Sur-Norte dentro de la Unión; una cuestión de alto interés dado el clima de incertidumbre e inestabilidad institucional generado por la inminente salida del Reino Unido de la UE.DOI: doi.org/10.24241/AnuarioCIDOBInmi.2017.180
