Los efectos de la crisis económica en los sistemas políticos europeos

Resumen

La reciente literatura que trata los efectos políticos del shock económico de 2008-2009 ha demostrado que la crisis en las sociedades capitalistas avanzadas además de económica ha sido democrática y política. Este trabajo examina la literatura de Política Comparada que ha investigado las dinámicas de cambio político que se han activado desde el inicio de la Gran Recesión, para identificar las principales fuentes de transformación política de las democracias capitalistas avanzadas. Las principales conclusiones apuntan que la crisis económica de 2008-2009 ha tejido una red compleja de causas y consecuencias que están transformando la política, ya que supone toda una serie de desafíos que los gobiernos de las democracias capitalistas avanzadas tienen muy difícil afrontar.
