Resum

We will analyse the role of the University as teacher trainer, its educational tools and its role as an engine of change in a social emergency issue, in which it cannot be left out. Climate Change is currently the biggest challenge for humanity and Education is going to become key to face this problem. In order to train teachers and citizens on this topic, a MOOC on the Science of Climate Change is designed and implemented from an interdisciplinary perspective. The University of Salamanca becomes the ideal platform, by having experts in both science and education who provide the scientific rigor of the content, while supporting the adequacy of the materials.
