Zusammenfassung

Teaching in a transversal context is getting more and more importance. The experiences of individual team members who carried out the project presented here are involved in different degrees of Humanities and Sciences and have enriched the knowledge and skills of them at both the individual and group level. This has been presented to the student groups that each member is responsible for, so that over time teamwork has been improved, which was very rare in our classrooms, as well as the ability to include matters beyond the teaching programmes of the specific degrees to explaining patterns and processes. Our cross-project proposal had a common thread: the architectural heritage. In this issue, we analyzed heritage characterization, documentation, alteration and conservation. All team members took care to focus and present the importance of the various branches of knowledge in the description and documentation of stone buildings that are part of the heritage, conservation and the various methods of restoration if need be. Moreover, as an important aspect, we have presented the documentation related to natural stone used in heritage, and the study of historical quarries
