Abstract
The implementation of the European Area of Higher Education is meaning important changes of the teaching activity. A relevant major change is the progressive implementation of interactive teaching methods, which allow a more intensive and active participation of students. So-called group dynamics figure prominently among them. During the academic year 2011-2012, several group dynamics activities were applied to the course “Introduction to Administration”. It is a basic subject of the Bachelor Degree in Business Administration and Management of the Faculty of Economics and Business of the University of Salamanca. The results achieved were highly satisfactory, as assessed by students. They suggested that group dynamics activities were the best practical activity of the subject, and they qualified them as the most important in terms of interest and learning. Additionally, the paper discusses their positive impact, in terms of attitude, aptitude and performance of students, and on the training of transversal skills. Finally, some possible limitations are identified.
