Zusammenfassung

Introduction. Tutorial system is under growing interest in universities. It is therefore necessary to examine the perception of stakeholders: teachers and students about different tutorial actions. Method. The study was carried out from the information provided by 139 students of psychology and occupational therapy, and by 19 teachers who teach in these courses. To collect information two similar online questionnaires were developed for both groups. Differences between selected variables were tested by using Student’s t-test for related variable and multivariate analysis of variance. The associations between scales’ items were analyzed by Pearson’s correlations. Results. Correlations analyses indicated that teachers offer higher average scores on importance toward different tutorial activities and slightly lower scores on their preparation to carry out these activities. Students rate even higher the usefulness of the different actions, regardless of their degree or the course they are. Conclusion. While the study provides evidence of the importance that both groups of respondents give to different tutorial actions, a need to prepare teachers to meet this challenge is also perceived. The need to involve a greater number of teachers into tutorial activities is also a pending challenge.
