In the context of convergence with the European higher education area, present the project of innovation educational 'Musical education through Wikipedia as a learning tool' in teaching (ID2012/092), linked to the Wikiusal project framed in the Campus of excellence international Studii Salamantini "SP1.1.USAL 2.0" program. Our project is to include rigorous content editing in Wikipedia, as part of the practical work of the course "Didactics of Musical expression" for students of the grade of primary education of the University School of education and tourism in Avila. The main purpose is to prepare our students for the present and the future for collaborative work through music, being applicable to any other subject, and increasing individual and collective intelligence improving their capacity, competence and social skills to learn through social interaction. To do this, have followed a strategy of hybrid kind of learning introducing our students to the world of MediaWiki through different activities such as: transmission of policies of editing, awareness of the rules for the proper choice of subjects that contribute and analysis of strategies of research and innovation to write about the chosen topic. He has likewise encouraged the active participation of the student in the learning process, reinforcing its stand-alone component and encouraging collaborative learning, and driving non-Presential academic activities, through wikipedia being valued with 10% of the final grade for the course. Finally, completed a final survey of satisfaction and achievement of students. The results of the project show a high degree of achievement of the objectives, along with a significant involvement of innovative elements, both in the aspect of the didactic strategies concerning the technological resources used.
