Abstract
This paper aims to analyze how Big data could impact the distribution of life insurance products. The approach to this analysis will be faced from a double perspective. On the one hand, examining the added value that Big data brings to life insurance and, on the other, the negative effects that this new technology could cause. Likewise, other relevant aspects such as the impact that Big data would have on insured´s behaviour or the traditional health questionnaire will be highlighted
