Resumo

— This virtual field trip reviews the oological record of the province of Huesca, with special attention to the Upper Cretaceous paleon- tological sites, and with emphasis on the new Ermita de Santa Marina site. In this site, more than sixty sauropod dinosaur eggs have been recovered during the 2020 excavation campaign, generating major media attraction. The eggs have been attributed to Megaloolithus sirugei, an ootaxon or species of fossil egg related to titanosaur sauropods. These eggshells have been also found along an alignment of outcrops of the Garum Facies of about 10 km, including a little-known palaeontological site, in the surroundings of La Peña reservoir, where the first fossil eggshells of the province of Huesca were described in 1967
