Resumen

La implacable realidad de la pandemia de COVID-19 en Estados Unidos ha puesto de relieve las deficiencias de su sistema sanitario en relación con un grupo poblacional que históricamente se ha visto sometido a una permanente exclusión, las naciones indígenas estadounidenses. Este artículo pretende ofrecer una visión panorámica de los desencuentros que ha mantenido la administración de Donald Trump con las naciones indias, analizando sus antecedentes, cómo se ha organizado y regulado la atención sanitaria y las consecuencias que la pandemia ha tenido en las tribus indígenas.
