Resumo

Despite the growing interest in the Aljamiado-Morisco corpus over the last decades, these texts still await the acknowledgement within the Spanish studies. Although these testimonies have not been unaware to the recent research trends in new technologies, through the development and application of specific tools, these initiatives have had different degrees of success. The aim of this paper is to present a critical review of the Digital Humanities applied to this unique Spanish corpus, with a detailed evaluation of its use in relation to the edition and study of such significant and still largely unpublished texts. In addition to a survey of the different contributions, such as the early digitization of manuscripts or the brief textual repertoires available on the web, in this paper we will focus on the most recent methodological proposals, which we have been developing at the University of Oviedo, in the framework of a cross-sectional collaboration of the «Seminario de Estudios Árabo-Románicos (SEAR)» with other teams.
