Resum

This research, based on the application of qualitative methodology, studies the strategic articulation of ancient wisdom indigenous-peasant and scientific and technical knowledge generated within the Bachelor degree of Comprehensive Management for Development, in orientation in Sustainability, of the Universidad Veracruzana Intercultural (UVI) and direct participation of its graduates and students in different experiences of sustainable and comprehensive development of natural resources in indigenous communities of nahuas and popolucas of the Sierra de Santa Marta in Veracruz (Mexico). These intercultural projects are presented as possible alternative models to help improve the precarious demographic and socio-economic reality of these Mesoamerican peasant communities.
