Resumen

La agnosia auditiva se caracteriza por undéficit en el procesamiento auditivo, que semanifiesta por una incapacidad parareconocer sonidos verbales y no verbales.La agnosia somática se define comoincapacidad para reconocer partes delpropio cuerpo y/o el de otras personas y laalteración en la capacidad para reconocerobjetos por el tacto en ausencia dealteraciones somestésicas básicas, agnosiatáctil. Estos tipos de alteraciones gnósicas,han sido menos investigadas, debido, entreotros factores, a que estos trastornos sonmenos frecuentes, en comparación con laincidencia de las alteraciones en elprocesamiento visual. En este trabajo seanalizan las características clínicas yaspectos neurofuncionales de losprincipales tipos de agnosias auditivas,somáticas y táctiles. Presentamos unaaproximación de los aspectosfundamentales a tener en cuenta en laevaluación de los rendimientos gnósicos detipo auditivo, somático y táctil.
