Abstract

Component 23 of the Spanish Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan is dedicated to new public policies for a dynamic, resilient and inclusive labor market. One of its priority objectives is the reform of labour legislation for the reorganization of employment contracts, the reduction of temporary employment and the improvement of training contracts, in order to adapt them to the changes produced in the educational system and to contribute to the better performance of job activities through the acquisition of skills and abilities. The promotion of indefinite contracts, the reorientation of fixed-term contracts and the avoidance of abuse in temporary contracts have become one of the main issues of this labour reform, agreed by the Government with the most representative business and trade union organizations.
