Résumé
The purpose of this essay is to make a tangential approach to the Revista de Tropas Coloniales and its ideology, revealing the difficult understanding between the dictator Primo de Rivera and the Africanist staff. With twelve years of intense life, those between 1924 and 1936, this publication made an enormous effort to justify the occupation of Al Hoceima. It was a key point to understand the power of the Riffian caudillo Abd-el-Krim and we ought to explain the difficulties than the operation entailed as well as the historical significance of this bay.
