Zusammenfassung

The aim of this paper is to highlight some of the anti-competitive effects that may arise as a result of the implementation of the regulatory sandbox in Spain by means of the Ley 7-2020, de 13 de noviembre, para la transformación digital del sistema financiero (BOE-A-2020-14205). In order to facilitate its understanding, it will also address both the justification (economic, legal and social) on which this new regulatory regime is based, as well as its level of penetration in other Member States.
