Abstract

This research paper analyzes some chronicles written by the Chilean author Pedro Lemebel in order to demonstrate, from some thematic and aesthetic characteristics (especially, memory, experience, melodrama and the confussion between real and imaginary), the articulation of a collective project of resistance and confrontation with the past and the immediate present (symbolized by another kind of memory and experience). I have called this project “ética bruta” and I will defend that this depends on the special attention that the writer pays to the “sensitive logic” (Maffesoli) as a response to the question about how people could organize themselves in the face of the weakness of social ties.
