Resum

Multicrystalline and amorphous silicon photovoltaic modules are exposed to real sun conditions in a testbench for one year. Modules are monitorized so we get I-V and P-V curves of all four modules each ten minutes. Working in this way, we get information about the performance of modules and the corresponding environmental conditions (Irradiance, temperatures, wind speed,…). With this information, we have done a calculation of the electrical production for each module during this period. Also we have defined a “performance index” to reflect how close the module power output is to the ideal power that would develop according to the irradiance.
