Abstract

This paper addresses the permanent campaign carried out for a decade by the Democratic Party in Georgia, United States, highlighting how they managed, after twenty years of Republican majority, to turn the State into a competitive battleground state. The reasoning and analysis are set forth, in order to understand its planning and execution. The research is based on secondary sources, as well as interviews with experts and party members. To conclude, its results, as well as future challenges are presented.
