Abstract
Introduction: This work analyzes the conceptual model Records in Contexts (RiC-CM) proposed by the International Council of Archives (ICA) for the archival description, as well as its implementation in an OWL ontology and its application for the publication of data in the field Linked Data. Methodology: The structure and elements of RiC-CM have been studied in relation to existing norms of description for the elaboration of the ontology. The necessary conditions have also been considered for the development and maintenance of interoperable data sets that include the application of good practices for the publication of structured data on the web. Results: An analysis of the RiC-CM conceptual model is presented together with an OWL ontology proposal for its representation. A list of good practices for the publication of archival data sets is also detailed. Conclusiones: The work reveals the integrative nature of the conceptual model of Records in Contexts, as well as the possibilities offered by greater interoperability of archival descriptions data.
