Localización de los mRNA de los dos tipos de somatolactina en hipófisis de dorada

Resumen

Se ha analizado por hibridación in situ (ISH) la expresión de mRNA de los dos tipos de somatolactina (SL1 y SL2) descritas hasta el momento en hipófisis de dorada (Sparus aurata). El método de ISH no radiactivo que optimizamos en este trabajo utiliza como sondas oligonucleótidos marcados en su extremo 5’ con biotina o digoxigenina, lo que permite realizar ISH simples y dobles de muy alta especificidad y sensibilidad. Las distintas oligosondas de SLs empleadas presentan una fuerte señal fundamentalmente en la pars intermedia (PI) de la glándula pituitaria. Este estudio detecta por primera vez células que coexpresan ambas formas. Además, en el estudio de tres grupos de tallas diferentes, producidas por el crecimiento asincrónico de la dorada en cultivo industrial, no hemos apreciado diferencias cualitativas en los niveles de expresión de la familia de genes GH/PRL.
