Resumen

The occurrence of osteoid osteomas of the foot is rare and their treatment has usually been surgical. A 13 yearold male with a subchondral osteoid osteoma in the right calcaneus was treated with percutaneousradiofrequency ablation using a simple subtalar approach. Two years later there was no evidence of recurrenceand he remains free of pain with normal function.
