Abstract
The accelerated adoption of communication technologies, process automation, and the increasingly constant need for employees to acquire new competencies are configured as one of the significant contemporary challenges for organizations to achieve their objectives and goals. Many companies use tools such as performance evaluation to identify the available competencies and make deliberations based on the results obtained in this process. However, there is a big gap between the actions carried out in the market and the applied studies related to competencies. The competencies highlight the need identified in the literature to conduct more empirical studies and understand the competencies of companies that use management platforms, using the use case of Brazilian companies. Through an exploratory analysis adopting distributed processing, the performance of two organizations was verified precisely by the evaluation results. The preliminary results of this paper focused on two case studies, one focused on a comparative analysis of competency performance in 2020 and 2021, and the second focused on the identification and characterization of collective competencies. In this, the performance of competencies was analyzed in conjunction with the company’s objectives and key results. Several descriptive measures, performance indicators, graphs, and tabular data were developed to understand better the performance of the competencies of the companies analyzed.
