Abstract

The triplite (Mg) is found in two class of the granitic pegmatites of Sierra Albarrana (g4, E2). The composition averages are: the first one, Fe Mn 1.56 Mg 9.1 Ca 0.08 Ti 0.10 F 5.37 and the other Fe 7.11 Mn 2.32 Mg 5.42 Ca 0.14 Ti 0.24 F 4.65. It has been formed by a biotite metasomatism below 600 ºC.
