Abstract

Abstract: Introduction: This proposal incorporates coeducational practices within the subject of Art and Education, seeking an adequate treatment of gender both in the conceptual and procedural contents. Some of the problems analyzed refer to the fact that the majority of theorists, as well as examples of artists who are taught are male. This is also due to the History of Art, in which the role of women has been relegated to the model or muse of the male artist, in a story told by men for men: J. J. Winckelmann, H. Wölfflin, E. Panofsky or Gombrich, among others. Among the objectives of this proposal is to promote work between different sexes for debates, reflections and collaborative projects; include feminine perspectives to the masculine theoretical lines of the subject; analyze and exhibit artistic works made by women, and carry out activities and practices that allow students to be aware of this inclusive perspective. Methodology: This proposal is aimed at 3rd and 4th grade students in Fine Arts. Results: The change focuses on the methodology of the subject itself, using directed reflection, role-playing dynamics, the articulation of games, autonomous research, the presentation of group projects to examine the gender perspective, as well as analysis stereotypes in the identification of those involved and human resources of the project, among others. Conclusions: It seeks to generate an educational context where women are included in their position as theorist and artist, in such a way that current gender problems can be solved in future generations
