Abstract
One of the measures that can be adopted in a case of divorce, legal separation or marriage annulment is awarding child support to children of full age. Art. 93.2 CC describes the necessary requirements. However, nowadays it is quite common to bring action demanding the termination of the child support, whose rationale is not so much the fact that the children are of age but rather the various circumstances our courts have taken into consideration after analysing individual cases, such as the children neglecting their studies or dropping out altogether, having access to a job, absence of a relationship between the parties, and so forth.
