Zusammenfassung
In this paper, Trajan�s foreign policy and propaganda are analyzed in the mirror of the subjects symbolized at Roman coining and in the monuments raised at Rome, in Italy and in the limits of the border provinces. In this regard, his ecumenical project is looked after the ideology of the dominatio mundi, at which the aemulatio Alexandri and the appointment of Trajan like Jupiter�s representative in the world play an important role, therefore fastening his charismatic image of cosmocrator related with the Roman ecumene, which reached its maxim spreading during his reign.
