Abstract
An analysis is carried out of one of the poorest areas of the province of Salamanca, Monleras. The replacement of species, the planning which regulates the registered small holdings, the herbaceous covering and the different ecosystems are the subjects of study. The very impoverished soil would suggest limiting the cultivation of crops, which progreáively accelerates the oligotrophy of these lands
