Sobre la geografía física de la ciudad de Aġmāt: Una propuesta diacrónica

Abstract

An analytical approach to the physical geography of the city of Aġmāt (تﺎﻤﻏأ ،تﺎﻤﻏآ) is developed in its most important aspects, such as: its water sources, its particularly favourable location and related climatic aspects. This analysis is based on the study of three Arabic geographical sources by three authors from different periods: Abū ‛Ubayd al-Bakrī (11th c.), al-Šarīf al-Idrīsī (12th c.) and Leon Africano (16th c.). The diachrony will allow us to see the changes that this territory has undergone over time.
