Abstract

The chemical fertility of three soils of the irrigated áreas of Tormes river: (1) sandy loam, (2) bro n soil of gravéis, and (3) meridional brown soil is studied, using pots and Lolium italicum Taptoe. The production is increased using nitrogen in all three soils; in the sandy loam soil (1) it is increased with phosphorus, and it is also improved in the other two soils using calcium, magnesium and sulphur. The interactions are not very acute, but there is a positive interaction between nitrogen and phosphorus in the sandy loam soil (1); and bet een nitrogen and potasium in brown soil of gravéis (2). The rest of the interactions are nuil or negative.
