Abstract
The present work describes histological characteristics of the stem, leaves and roots of Bufonia macropetala Willk. (Caryophyllaceae) Analysis in made of the primary and secondary vascular systems and their possible relationship with tissues. A model for the ontogenetic development of this species is proposed.
