Résumé

The Spanish Counterrevolution that crystallized into Carlism had a constant interest in America in its first steps. In the crisis of the Catholic Monarchy, a driven of Carlotism was this concern on the territorial integrity of the Monarchy. This article presents this question, based on some publications appeared at the time of the Cortes in Cádiz, and reflects upon the trajectory of some actors intertwined with Carlota Joaquina’s cause
