Laburpena

The author tries to explain the enormous reception that the Marxist movement experiences during the 20th century in France. In this scenario, phenomenology and existentialism would be the manifestation of a turn towards the concrete and towards effective material life as the foundation of human and social life. Existence is explained in terms of an existential materialism and the notion of lifeworld is understood as the real and effective world in which the subject develops his existence. In this sense, the classical notions of Marxism –class struggle, proletariat, revolution, sacrifice– are read and interpreted in the light of the philosophy of Husserl and Heidegger.
