Dossier jurisprudencial sobre consumidores. Primer semestre de 2023

Résumé

This dossier provides news of the main court decisions during the first half of 2023 regarding consumer protection, both from the Supreme Court and the Court of Justice of the European Union. Most of them concern issues related to unfair terms. However, other conflicts are also addressed, such as those raised by complex financial contracts, the effects of the right of withdrawal after a service has been performed, price reduction in connection travel contracts as a consequence of Covid-10 mitigation measures, early reimbursment in credit agreements concluded for residential real estate or manufacturer’s liability against individual buyers when vehicles incorporate devices that do not comply with the European Union regulations.
