Beneficios de la aplicación de normas internacionales en procesos electorales

Abstract

In this article, the benefits of the applicability of international norms ISO in electoral processes are presented with the purpose of raising positive perception levels of the citizens. The application of ISO/TS 17582:2014 norms, Quality Management Systems, and the ISO/IEC 27001:2013 norm, for all electoral process stages will be verified. The domains that are part of the ISO/TS 17582:2014[2] norm, which permit a continuous improvement process to guarantee the quality of methodologies that support the organization, administration, management, monitoring, and auditing of an electoral process. The ISO/IEC 27001:2013 norm is aligned with the ISO9001: 2008 norm for information security management. This norm will allow ensuring integrity, confidentiality, and availability of the information during electoral processes
