The contemporary democratic regime, the State of Law and periodic electoral processes in Latin America and the Caribbean celebrate 40 years in the region facing the challenges that arise from the constraints of formal and representative democracy and its action in generating better living conditions and inclusion of broad sectors of the population as a real materialization of human rights.
