Resumen

In this paper we describe the main characteristics of LUGAN a software package for computer aided design of control systems using tecniques in the frecuency domain. The package coveres all steps in the design process: modelling, selection of regulator structure and parameters, and time domain testing, and provide the user with a fast interface, mouse based, to make it more interactive. Characteristics gains, characteristics locus, Inverse Nyquits array methods and Bristol relative gains matrix have been implemented in LUGAN as well as many auxiliary functions.
