Résumé

The multimedia short story “We Are Angry” (2014) presents the traumatic aftermath of a rape case for a global audience. Through a polyvocal narration, it evinces that the clothes of victims play a significant role in the justification of sexual violence and, as this chapter will argue, also in the way in which an assault is remembered and possibly overcome. It will be concluded that, among their manifold interpretations, garments can also be read as a symbol of protest.
